According to a transportation study by
INRIX Inc. (a high tech
telematics transportation company) metro Las Vegas ranked #40 out of the top 100 worst traffic congested cities in the USA... the INRIX study also
determined the peak weekly traffic period in metro Las Vegas to be on Friday afternoons between the hours of
5pm - 6pm. According to another traffic study by the
Texas Transportation Institute, the TTI ranked metro Las Vegas #19 out of the top
20 most congested cities as measured by the number of hours commuters endured in extra
travel time during rush hour traffic... the TTI determined metro Las Vegas
residents waste approx. an extra 51 hours per year traveling in local rush-hour
traffic. |
